The Alpha Best-of-Three Rule Set
Alpha Grappling Championships operates under a unique Best of Three rounds format designed to reward consistency, strategy, and true dominance.

Each round is contested independently — creating three high-intensity battles within one match.
Three Rounds. One Winner.
- Each Alpha Grappling match consists of:
- • Best-of-Three Rounds
• 7 Minutes per round

Alpha 1-Point Scoring System
Alpha Grappling uses a simplified 1-point scoring system based on traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu scoring positions.
Each successful technique scores 1 point:
• Takedown
• Sweep
• Guard Pass
• Knee on Belly
• Mount
• Back Control
Advantages are not used.
This system rewards activity, control, and clean execution — while keeping scoring transparent for athletes and fans.
Winning a Round
A round can be won by:
• Submission
• Points (after 7 minutes)
• Opponent disqualification
If a submission occurs, that competitor wins the round immediately.
If no submission occurs, the athlete with the highest points wins the round.
If points are tied, referees will determine the round winner based on:
• Aggression
• Submission attempts
• Positional dominance
